Founder’s Note

We build Beyond because from the get go we knew the kind of people we wanted to build for and we couldn’t find gear that respected them enough.

We’ve spent over a decade in and around this space design, materials, manufacturing. We’ve prototyped bags ourselves, sourced hardware, stitched samples, built and broken product lines. We’ve seen what shortcuts look like and what quality feels like when it’s earned.

Our first venture taught us a lot. Not everything we built worked. But every failure refined us. It gave us a deeper respect for process and the patience it takes to build something right.

We’re brothers. That’s where this started. But we always knew it wouldn’t and shouldn’t stay between us. The strength we found in family whether by blood or chosen is what led us to build Beyond as a wider community.

Because when you move with purpose, you start to find others who do too. You see them on trails, in studios, on sets, in the in-between spaces where real stories happen. Over time, what starts as a product becomes a signal. And what starts as a bond between two people becomes a community built on trust, rhythm, and shared values.

We also believe that building for this community comes with responsibility. Not just to the people who carry our gear but to the world we move through. That’s why we design for endurance first. Why we use recycled materials. Why we repair where we can. Because the most sustainable gear is the gear that stays with you.

When you carry Beyond, we hope it feels like something you’ve had with you all along. Something that earns its place. And holds up through it all.
